Soon as I dropped to sleep I wake up sweating and my heart is racing like mad! This keeps happening feel like I can’t breathe.. does anyone get this I can’t settle down just feel so awful this keeps happening also I can’t stop thinking about negative stuff in my brain it won’t shut off

Dear Kaaayla, I use to be like this as well. The stress is so high that even dropping off to sleep alerts the brain (falsely) that something is wrong. Telling you aren't on standby to keepyourself safe. And of course, it's not true, it's your subconscious mind playing this threatening message over and over. It raises the adrenaline which wakes you up in a startle, profuse sweating and fast beating heart.
The brain won't shut off because of these ruminating thoughts not allowing you to relax even
for a moment. Reprogramming your mind would help but I don't know if it's possible right now for you with all the stress you have around you.
It's going to take time adjust and accept your life. It won't always be this way.
