I have a cousin that works with clients, the person they care for is very tough to to deal with and slightly verbally abusive…it varies. But she’s said she feels drained with this client.
How should my cousin proceed?
What should she tell her manager?

I think that would depend on the type of job and what her duties are. For example if it’s the medical field it may be different than a realtor or financial advisor. I would say she should just act very nicely to speak with her manager. Then just explain the abuse she is getting. Make sure it’s clear she’s not just a complainer and values her job to her boss.
