Last night I went to see fireworks with a friend and there were also people setting off fireworks across the street. It wasn’t super close but close enough to be loud. This morning I woke up and my ears feel odd, like they’re stuffed up but they aren’t really. Also a tiny bit of ringing. I can hear and everything but it’s throwing me off and I’m worried. Could the fireworks have caused this? Like going to a concert? And it will probably pass?

Ears feel weird
Fireworks are explosive likely to temporarily blast your eardrums ….will be ok soon ….disclaimer… I have no medical qualifications whatsoever
Sounds like tinnitus to me. Very often it disappears after a few days.

Hi, grudgekyoko,
I experienced the same thing you did, after I went out to a night club with a friend and the music was insanely loud! We stayed in there for hours and after we left and went out to the car, my ears felt like they were stuffed up with cotton. And it scared the crap out of me and my anxiety kicked in, as I had never experienced anything quite that extreme before. I had had it happen, a couple other times, after being in a couple other places where the music was really loud. But once my ears relaxed, the feeling gradually went away and my ears went back to normal. You just need to give your ears time to recover. I hope this helps and best wishes to you! 🌿🌻🌿💛🌿🌻🌿
