Chiropractor Stroke Anxiety

I went to the chiropractor today for the first time and got adjusted. Everything felt fine and then my anxiety kicked in. I started googling and saw that a lot of people can get a stroke up to 2-3 weeks after getting a neck adjustment.

So now i’m just waiting for the stroke and I can’t make my mind shut up. I started feeling a little sore on the left side of my neck so now I feel like I have a pinched artery or something

Someone please tell me any positive chiro stories or anything that will help ease my worry!!

Hi Guzman13. I visited a chiropractor first time ever last August and felt exactly the same. I left the room feeling bit sick and that night had night sweats. It put me right off and having severe anxiety I couldn’t tell if it was that or the treatment. Over the last year I’ve come to realise a lot of my symptoms are due to anxiety despite being good by many different health professionals. Sometimes it just takes time for our bodies and minds to believe it. If you feel the chiropractor can help you, just tell them next time how you feel and they may be more gentle or look at other forms of manual work

Chiropractor Worked Really Good For But My Insurance Doesn’t Pay.

Last Time, My Mother Payied But She Died In 2018.

Been to a chiropractor on and off for years. I wouldn't freak yourself too much.Rather go there than take all the drugs the doctor wanted to give me, I did try those but to no avail.

I'm sure if chiropractors were that dangerous they wouldn't be allowed to practice.

I hope that your visit there has at least lessened any pain you were having?
