Health Anxiety.

I am new here. Having difficulty withdrawing from sertraline. Suffer terrible with health anxiety.

Hi yes I suffer with health anxiety which has got worse during lockdown. You are not on your own as there are many on here who also suffer from it. I haven’t got a quick fix answer for you but is it possible you could ask your doctor to refer you for talking therapy as it does help. Could I ask why you are stopping the sertraline? as that can make anxiety worse in the beginning

Was feeling no better and after a year have started withdrawing. Side effects of withdrawing are causing digestive upsets, loss of appetite bad dreams and just not feeling well. All doctor wants to do is out me on a higher dose.

I’ve done that and it makes it much worse in the start did you stop it or the doctor?

Stopping it with the doctors approval. On 25my a day now.
