I had a horrible case of Generalized Anxiety Disorder. For me .... Psychologists I saw were worthless. One taught me how to breath, which I already knew ..... waste of time.

Another wanted me to hug myself for some reason ..... I ran out of there.

A psychiatrist wanted to bury me in SSRI and other drugs for life. No thanks!

I cured myself with education and research and natural therapies and supplements. Worked great! Been in remission for a few years now.

A couple of anxiety reduction programs I purchased online, however, did help immensely. They were sold by people who suffered anxiety first hand. They were reasonably priced workbooks and mp3 audio lessons. I enjoyed them .... and they effectively ended the dreary feelings and constant fear and trembling/twitching.
