Cramps, muscle tension, neck pain, headaches ... on and on. It's all anxiety related. Anxiety tenses up everything. It's the flight or flight reflex gone bonkers!
You need to get to the root of your tension / fear. Calm it all down. If you watch TV that upsets you .... turn it off. If you're on the 'net looking at things that anger or upset you .... OFF!
Anything that foments stress needs to be dialed back. Stimulant foods or drink have to go. No sugary foods or drinks. No coffee. Replace them all with health-promoting, nutritious foods.
No TV or PC or meals 4 hours before bed. You get the idea! Go through and deescalate every area of your life, then the tension will fade away.
There are lots of teas and supplements that help reduce tension and anxiety. Start with magnesium. It promotes calmness and sleep.
Exercise every day ... even if just a long walk. And take a good multivitamin. Good Luck!
