Have had a week of crying and intense fear. Feel like I ‘m going out of my skin and my brain keeps saying , ‘I don’t know what to do”. Doc gave me Wellbutrin and hydrochloride. Later I was able to plead for some Ativan.
This came on so suddenly - I was fine the day before. Took Paxil daily (for 20+ years)
I’m scared.

Hi, I am not qualified re the medication side of things so I am glad you have seen a medical practitioner. Meds do take time to kick in. I hope your new combination do the trick. Curious about why you didn't go back to previous script which worked before 🤔 If you can, try some exercise outdoors or inside, to get you mind out of its fear zone. Yoga or meditation before bed gets you into a better place too. Sending you hugs from Australia 💜🐨
Wellbutrin could be the reason for the extra anxiety it's more stimulating and also blocks nicotine receptors so if you smoke then you wont get that calmness, but if you dont the extra boost of norepinephrine our fight or flight chemical and hydroxyzine I'm guessing you meant to say disinhibits the release of norepinephrine via being a mild ht2a blocker which ht2a is a break line for a few thing but blocking it help anxiety and insomnia but it has to be down regulated first, so you brain went into panic mode cause the less gaba and more norepinephrine, I'd suggest keeping hydroxyzine it's good as needed or prescribed but no wellbutrin plus another reason is wellbutrin and benzodiazepines withdrawal is asking for a seizure
