Can you describe the sensation you have in your head? I get them too but wondering which ones you get

It’s like: I can feel waves of tightness in my face around nose area, behind my eyes. Can rub my lips and feel sensitive small shocks go three my face. It’s ver uncomfortable. Headaches every couple days. Feel all this even far worse when I talk to anyone, girlfriend, dad, son , or stranger. So I thought for awhile it was only when I talk but later found that it’s worse but not only when talking. Feel like my head and face is electrified

I feel like I can’t get thru this on my own anymore. I get dreadful feelings that make me feel sick and then they are gone then right back again. I had this once before and after 6 months of suffering I was put on paroxetine.. two months later from that I felt better ... 9 months of drug I got off and felt better for 2.5 years. Drank a lot and ended up in another divorce... I’m over that and happy with new partner but here all this comes and stays just killing me and I don’t know why it won’t let go.

I'm not a doctor, but that could be anxiety: it has a whole host of symptoms that are strange. Tension causes contraction of your scalp muscles which in turn causes soreness around the head and headaches. Contraction of tense muscles causes pain which worsens with worry and eases as you relax.

I recommend Dr. Claire Weekes book 'Hope and Help for your Nerves.'

No problem.

Anxiety has some very strange symptoms that even psychiatrists have a tough time coping with such as chest pain. Anyone is going to tell you if you have chest pain get to the ER straight away. And I did that. Numerous times. So many times that the ER doctor tried Ativan and that was the first thing to help. And I still have chest pain. For years. I have a cardiologist too. I get a lot of muscle tension.

Again, I'm not a doctor and I would recommend you see one to rule out whatever you think is going on. Once that is done you can address the anxiety issue lying beneath the tension.
