Your ego self is your analytical mind in other words can be called monkey mind, thinking mind, ego self has to put every life situations, an object, emotions, thoughts, feeling, person in its place with a label, or identifying it or judging it. Which causes duality, separation. Our 5 senses is important to the ego self. It needs are in order to work and survive, but the biggest irony is that we are not our ego self. Everyone is controlled by our ego daily and doesn't know It. It loves drama, it needs pain and suffering. It is the evil (live) in side of us. So live daily without putting any judgement, identifying, labeling in anything or anyone. Look at the other person as an extension of you and how you would like to be treated as the same as that person would like be too. Do not identify, or put constant focus, judgement on your physical symptoms of anxiety, depression. If not it will lead to fear, pain and suffering. In other words insanity. Meditation is the key to calming down the mind (the ego). Then your true self will come into being. Be in the NOW. Don't think of the past, don't worry about the future. Everything happens in NOW.

Hi Marc I’ve read your posts they are very good . I’m a over thinker and need to live in moment everything going for me so can’t get my head round feeling not right some days, where I feel unsure and no confidence. How do you start ? With mild fullness ? Do you recommend any books etc . I’ve just started taking ashwanga to see if that’s enough to take the edge of . Thanks
