Just wondering, has anyone encountered blurry vision with anxiety? I've always had floaters in my eyes since I was a teen, and it usually comes and goes. But lately they've gotten worse and my vision's pretty blurry as well 😭 I can't see well in dark areas with bright lights (I already have glasses).
I'm getting it checked tomorrow because I've scared myself into thinking that I might have diabetes. Sometimes, I get sorta dizzy outside, and then I start breaking out into cold sweat. Trying not to jump to conclusions until I see my doctor, but it's so difficult.
I've been so stressed about it and now, I feel like the right side of my face is kinda bumb? Which made my anxiety spike reaaaaaaaal bad because I'm like "WHAT IF THIS IS A STROKE". I've been battling anxiety symptoms for three years, but why is it that the list just keeps getting longer and longer 😂

Hi there. I hope you've been to your Drs now. It might be worth a trip to the opticians too. I experienced something similar to this and I thought I was having a stroke. I ended up with an ambulance at the door. I had tunnel vision, ok looking straight ahead but blurry round the periphery. This in turn set off a panic attack. It had subsided by the time the ambulance crew got there. I'd never had it before, it totally freaked me out. According to the optician, it was a visual migraine. Look it up maybe? I've not had it since, thankfully. As for floaters in the eyes, that is a very common thing and nothing to worry about. Go to an optician anyway and hopefully they will put your mind at rest.
Hi! Thank you so much for this comment I went to the doctors the other day and he took my blood to check for diabetes/thyroid problems, and I'll be getting my results soon. Fingers crossed that it's not anything too serious! He also ruled out cataracta/glaucoma, and referred me to an eye clinic. I already have an eye appointment coming ul, so I'm *slightly* less anxious now about the whole thing. He conducted an eye test and it seems like the vision in my left eye is pretty bad (I have astigs), so it could be that my astigmatism has worsened. The headaches have also gone away (for now). I'll be more at ease once I get my blood test results 😂
