Is it true that the more weight you gain, the more your anxiety increases?

I've gained a bit of weight during lockdown and, coincidentally, my anxiety got worse. Is there a connection between weight gain and anxiety? Thanks

Hi Marc

I’ve had this since 2001 I’ve been thin then gained weight and still suffer maybe it is connected I’ve never thought about that to be honest worth checking out though

Hello :-)

Well if it is true could be the answer to why my anxiety is so bad :-D

I am not sure to be honest , I think no matter how much you weigh it is about been healthy because if you do not feel healthy in yourself that can affect your anxiety

Take Care x
