What can palpitations feel like

Maybe we all feel them differently but when I get them it feels like I can feel my heart beating quickly , sometimes it will skip a beat and sometimes it feels like little flutters and sometimes it will give one big thud ,none of which are nice

I just posted on this very issue. I have had these heart flutters intermittently since a teen. I am experiencing them more frequently now and I wonder if it’s all the stress of COVID and how it’s changed our lives. I have been to a cardiologist and they found I also have mitro valve prolapse, but it’s minor. I am having more tests done now though because they are getting bothersome. Other people have said that beta blockers help this condition of fluttering. But mostly it’s due to stress. Try not to worry too much about it. It’s probably normal.
