Heart flutters

I am experiencing a fluttering of my heart like it’s skipping around in my chest. I have had this on and off all my life, but for some reason it’s been bothering me a lot these last three days. It’s causing more anxiety for me. I have an appointment with a cardiologist tomorrow. I have had stress tests, ekgs and ultrasounds and they always show nothing wrong. Anyone experience anything like this?

Yes I get heart flutters , missing beats all due to anxiety

It is good that you have had so many checks as well as have an appointment tomorrow , I am sure this will give you peace of mind

Thank you for responding, Lulu-1. It will be addressed tomorrow. I’m hoping he prescribes a beta blocker. I’ve tried this in the past and it helps with the skipping.

hi .yes i get these quite often . i have been told its anxiety also. i have not had an ECG (as we call it in the uk) although i did have one many years ago and everything was ok . i have just learned to live with them now . i was prescribed propranolol which is a beta blocker and they really do work well . they also lower your blood pressure two so when i am having an episode of the flutters i take one and with in half an hour they have stopped . Try not to worry about them as you have had tests and all is good .x
