Increased anxiety due to inactivity and laziness?

So I made a post regarding increased anxiety due to hot weather last time, but now I feel that there's more to it than that. Ever since lockdown started and then further after that, the contract on my job expired I seem to have gotten increasingly more anxious, even about stuff that didn't bother me before. Does this happen a lot with people who get more anxiety due to unused energy? Its not that I haven't tried to find another job, I have, but its difficult especially during these times.

Last weekend I felt REALLY horrible. Things that I wasn't so anxious about before I am now anxious about. I feel like maybe its due to staying at home throughout the week and not being active enough. Can this happen and will it get better? Thanks

You are in your head way too much! That is what happens to us when we are not productive in some way. It doesn't even have to be a job, just something to keep us busy. Does that make sense?

100% from being cooped up in the house I’ve been feeling the same thing. Try to get up and around even if you don’t feel Iike it make yourself do it, I find the energy comes and the anxiety eases when I focus on something else for a while
