Work anxiety

Short post as I need some support as I am not thinking straight. I have had some bad feedback at work and the way this was delivered has caused me so much distress and anxiety over the past 7 days. I have already told the people involvement how I feel but I am now left with panic attacks and a constant feeling of fear. I called in sick today and going to the doctor. I am already on serteline and beta blockers for social anxiety. This has really knocked me.

Perhaps you need to reflect and decide whether this job, or company that you work for are best for you. Nobody should live in fear of their job or working environment. You are better than that. If there are few alternatives why not seek out someone in a responsible position at work, tell them how you feel, and ask for feedback but in a more constructive way?

For your general anxiety there is a wealth of information out there, based on cognitive behavioural therapy techniques (CBT) which can be easily incorporated in your life.

Keep positive and let us know how you get on,

William, this used to happen to me a lot! Any little thing would set me off; rude people or even if someone looked at me side ways and then, I couldn’t go out for up to 7 days and only at night to do shopping.

Mirtazapine really worked for me! I have been on it for 6 + years now it has worked but I now find that I suffer anxiety. I had a relapse recently but I upped my Quetiapine which, really helped. I am now starting Prozac as well and hopefully we be myself again soon.

Please hang in there, I can understand what you are going through! I am new on her but, I hope I have helped!!?
