Withdraws from Zoloft

I tapered off Zoloft for 2 1/2 months. This past month was the first mint completely off Zoloft. I was doing good and feeling great no withdrawals, but 2 weeks ago it’s like everything hit me and my anxiety and panic are through the roof. I’m wondering if it’s withdrawals or just a sign I need to go back on it. Anyone have any experience or words or wisdom

I was on zoloft for years and tapered off of it at the end of last year. I was also on buspar and klonopin and tapered off of those as well. I found that the medications did not eliminate my anxiety but helped me start to manage it and see what life could be like without anxiety. It took therapy and educating myself about anxiety, why I had it and how to accept it for me to be able to recover. From what i have read and the people I have talked to this is common, that meds alone won't eliminate your anxiety but can help when combined with therapy.

I disagree . I’m coming up 3 weeks first time on it and my anxiety has never been better , I’m starting to feel normal . Not anxious every second and have not had a panic attack since on them . Did have side effects , but who cares they are helping me big time .

It’s the anxiety coming back. I had to wean off one drug to start another my anxiety was through the roof. Couldn't live without my Zoloft, it helps me.

I just did this with LEX. I was totally fine for 4 months as I tapered off so very slowly........and then OUCH, I got a phone call from someone who has always flipped me out and I was off and running again, as though I had never done the work with Claire Weeks or had been on the med.

I got a refill of my meds last week, and by day 3 I had totally calmed down.
