For the past few days I have been getting heavy legs...they feel like they are burning like all the blood rushed to my legs and stayed there. It happened today at work out of nowhere and of course I panic but I'm ok now. I'm wondering if it's because I started running recently. I've never felt like that after a workout before though.

Your recent run could have contributed, but 'heavy legs' is a known anxiety symptom. When anxious, your blood flow gets redirected for 'fight or flight'. From my understanding, this is what causes the heavy leg feeling. I've learned to just walk through it.
