Chest pains but hospital says I’m fine

Hi I’ve been having chest pains for about a month now. Along with arm pain and back pain. I’ve been checked out four times and they say I’m perfect. My blood sugar is a little bad but I’m working on it. I’ve also been having bubbly feeling in my chest and racing pulse which feels like it’s in my back. Am I really expressing these symptoms or is it a mental thing? I’m so sick of it! part of me keeps thinking I’m going to have a heart attack but nothing happens. I also had double pneumonia a month ago and they said I could have pain from that for a while. I just don’t know what to do anymore! Any suggestions would be awesome!

Hey there! Have you been to a psychiatrist? A lot of it sounds like anxiety. I have anxiety and panic disorder. I've gone to the ER and clinic SO many times for my panic/anxiety. It feels like my heart is pounding, horrible chest tightness and panic, dizziness, and more. It's really hard to live a normal life sometimes. If you are still worried you can ask your doctor or primary care physician to do a stress test and heart holter monitor to rule out heart issues. I've had a stress test, bloodwork, echocardiogram, and holter monitor so my heart is ok. It's really scary but your symptoms can't hurt you. Hope you feel better, here to talk if you need it!

Hi, I notice that u said u have had an echocardiogram, I’ve just had an appointment in to go for one and it’s totally freaked me out....can u tell me anything about it?

I’ve had the same. Chest pains / discomfort for 5 weeks now along with fatigue, random nerve pains. I woke up last night with bad arm pain. I also have back pain. Wonder if it’s muscle tension. I’ve been to A&E twice, doctors numerous times. All tests normal (ecg, chest X-ray, bloods, etc). Have asked for more specialist tests in cardiology, neurology and gastrointestinal but there’s a waiting list. Its unbelievable anxiety can cause such unpleasant symptoms but I know it can. I’m looking at all options. Hope you feel better soon.
