Yes. Your brain can't form new memories when it is anxious/stressed because resources are being diverted away from the mechanisms that solidly memories. Anxiety causes chemical/structural changes in your brain until you learn to overcome it. There is physiological evidence for this that I read about somewhere.

Lindsey14, please give us a little more details. Did this start suddenly? How long has this been going on? Are there any other seemingly unrelated symptoms? How old are you? Any medications or supplements you are taking? Any medical conditions or injuries in the past?Do you have a healthy weight? Cholesterol or diabetes? Feeling tired?

If you have been to the doctor and the doctor says there's nothing wrong, try some vitamin and mineral supplements. B12 deficiency causes all sorts of crazy problems.
