I had a bad panic attack on Wednesday driving home. Had some residual feelings of shakiness, but I didn't let it isolate me. This afternoon I did an intrusive/unwanted thoughts exercise which involves letting the thoughts come up. I ended up scaring myself pretty bad. Was feeling really shaky and apprehensive about tomorrow as I wasn't calming down as fast as I wanted. Listened to some meditations, which helped.
Came on here and looked around at some posts and felt much better. Especially Beevee's posts. It is helpful to be reminded to move forward and not let the anxiety keep you down. Take it with you, don't give it any respect, and things do get better.
