My breathing is strange

I feel like my breathing is not automatic makes me to catch air sighing, tight chest , back tightness, mild pain in ribs in the left pectoral, I feel suffocated when I speak and sometime when I eat , scared, my breathing is not comfortable , I Google symptoms about lungs i am thinking that I have a chronic desease but I don’t smoke I feel like I will stop breathing.

Why do you Google symptoms when you know it will only make you feel worse, if you are worried go see a real doctor.

Doctor Google is your enemy, stop using it!

Relax. Trust me, your breathing is AUTOMATIC. Because if it wasn't just as you are thinking right now you would be in trouble. You just focus too much on it and specifically looking for something abnormal. Take your focus away from it. Watch a movie or take a cold shower. Call a friend. Anything but to focus on it and you will he just fine. As a matter of fact you are just fine now.

We do not advise that anyone of this forum go to Dr Google for any reason while they are actively having anxiety symptoms.

The good news is, that if you surrender to how you feel, you can use your breath to calm yourself down. However you have to find a youtube video of someone whom you trust to follow their mindful breathing pattern. Then you do that video every day, a lot.

Then you need to learn that the body KNOWS WHAT it is doing and will breath for you, until you get a grip and get into the flow of that video you have just studied for days, so you can use your breath as a focus for your mind, to distract you from whatever it was that just flipped you out.

IF you spend all of your time on the computer or your smart phone, you will need to shut off your phone for 4 hours every day and turn it off again at night.

get together with friends, or your folks or brothers etc every single day, for a tea, a walk, an ice cream, or go to the library, BUT face to face to get back into the land of emotional support from people.
