Hello everyone. I have been on pills for like 3 years now. Couple of times I tried to quit. I took time, slowly cutting a dose. But everytime after like 1 month I start feeling so upset. I want to cry because of little things.
The same time when I am on SSRI, it makes me more aggressive. So, I kinda have to choose between being either agressive/no depression, or not aggressive with crying spells.....This is a nightmare..How to get out of this circle?

I'm so sorry. I haven't been down your road but have you tried any meditation? I never thought of it or even believed in it til recently but it really does help big time!
When I tried to stop taking antidepressants I had a psychotic breakdown. The consultant psychiatrist said I would need to take them for the rest of my life, just as, if I had diabetes, I would need insulin for the rest of my life. Perhaps mindfulness and counseling would help with your aggression. Depression is thought to be caused by repressed anger. If you have been unfairly hurt or harmed, or a loved one has, maybe a combination of forgiveness and reparation is needed?
