Anxiety due to medication

Has anyone ever had a side effect of a medication be anxiety? If so how long did it take for it to go away, or did it go away. My anxiety was a side effect from a medication.😞

Mbuczek16, depending what the medication is, I have found that anxiety will get a little higher as the medication is taking effect on the brain. Whether starting a new med or increasing the dosage, the temporary increase in anxiety should wean down once the

full efficacy of the med is stabilized. Always ask your prescribing physician any questions of concern that you may have. They know your medical history and can better relate as to how you react to medication. xx
