Exactly the same, I used to have it on the highest volume but now I can’t bear it on the lowest it can be.. it’s horrible seeing as it used to be the the only thing that would calm me xx
New music sucks.
Probably am older than you. Could you give some examples of the new music that you think sucks? And what doesn't... I'm sincere. No tricks. Just got off a cruise ship, where some of the band music I wasn't familiar with and people of all ages were just dancing across the whole open deck on this megaship until midnight. One of the groups was a band "Louisville Crashers" who made everyone forget what ever was depressing them.I'm serious. Thanks.
Sometimes I think our whole bodies and definitely our brains are a giant chemistry labs held together by muscle, bone, and nerves....and our brains decide to adjust the chemistry when it and our nervous system have had enough of something. I used to love old classic movies but mostly listen to them, and couldn't stand the brightness of the large screen, so I would put a small blanket over the screen. Now I find late night live comedy from the late night talk shows are actually enjoyable. And I can record as many of the monologues, skits, etc. as possible from the different programs and then play a few at a time when I'm trying to relax at bedtime. I don't sleep well and don't look forward to going to bed because I have severe nightmares. Well, haven't figured out how to stop many of those, but at least I know I have time where I have some enjoyment before sleep.
Who knows...maybe next week my body will crave those old Monty Python sit coms from England years ago. Go figure.
