When I stand up or get up I get up I get this wave of dread and weird descending feeling in my body ( thats the best I can describe ) and feeling of passing out .
It goes away on its own but the feeling is really unpleasant at the moment . The feeling is greatly related to my heart and on standing I get tightness in heart and thumps and shortness of breath . This thing has scared me bad. I had ekgs , echo and holter which came back negative . Are these tests enough ? I also had blood test .
I am embarrased coming to this sight frequently but I can head nowhere else . Doctors tell me iam fine but things like these make me feel that my body is constantly trying to tell me something . Can anybody help a lil bit?
(English is not my native language btw and im 16 yrs old male .Thank you!)

Hi 👋 the things you described do sound like it is anxiety as you have had all the tests to insure you that your heart is okay I know it’s hard to accept that it’s not heart realtated as I go through the exact same symptoms and feelings.. constantly feel like I’m dying.. and you shouldn’t be embarrassed about coming on to the site and asking for some help or reassurance the site is for that and it does help to know people go through the same thing as you it kinda gives you some peace of mind hope you feel better soon glad you came and posted x
Hi! As you've had extensive tests, you can GUARANTEE that this is anxiety playing tricks on you. Age is on your side, too.☺
I thoroughly recommend reading Jeff1943's excellent posts on how anxiety can trick us, and how to overcome it once and for all. It will take work - but his posts will explain all.
Most of all, remember that when these episodes happen, you're going to be ok. Promise!
