But looking at your previous posts you have chronic anxiety and your breathlessness has been investigated and no physical cause found. So there seems little doubt it is related to your anxiety which seems to focus on worries about your health. It's a difficult one to come to terms with, but can escalate into more worries about other symptoms.

Can you learn to stop worrying about your physical health without getting lots of checks, tests and doctor reviews? That can become a really big problem, but is unfortunately very common in young people.

Thank you so much for showing me this....and it's exactly what i feel... whenever i have shortness of breath i think it's a lung problem or something but then i also think i'm having a heart attack at times.... and yeah i've gone to the ER twice they told me the ekg and xray were fine and after that i still wasn't really convinced because i have chest pains here and there... but thank you, now i know what's really wrong with me...

So now you have to see if you can rise above these worries. Recurrent chest pain in this situation is very common and the anxiety can increase muscle tone and pain . So the pains and breathless feelings are likely to persist but do not represent a physical problem
