So I've noticed with all this lightheaded business... So anyone feel it gets worse if they move suddenly? Even if it's literally the smallest of movements? My lightheadedness comes and goes... But sometimes it's awful! Even sitting on the sofa I can come over all lightheaded!! It's bloody awful.

Lighthead...
It is horrible, I hate it. I'm experiencing it right now. For me it has to do with not hydrating enough. I haven't touch a sip of water for hours. It does make a difference.
Maybe you can give it a try. Oh yes, I don't dare move suddenly either, or look up that also makes me feel bad. Hope it gets better later today. Take care
I drink so much water... Upto 3liters a day, so mine isn't related with that. I don't actually know what is is related to... People claim it is linked to anxiety but who knows gets me down so much
It is anxiety based. 3 liters of water a day is good. So that's not the problem. Another thing that attributes to lightheadedness is shallow breathing. I do deep breathing when on the couch, computer and in a store when I feel it come on. That does help as well. If not that maybe it's time to see an ENT to see if the ears may be causing it. I am also in therapy and she uses CBT, meditation and relaxation with me. I really hope you find some strategy to apply to that feeling. Best of luck....
Lightheadedness and or dizziness is one of the worst symptoms in my mind of Anxiety. Because unless you are spinning around and around as part of a game you cannot justify it's existence. We all know that it could either be high BP or low BP or a virus or lack of food and drink etc.. But I find that it comes out of nowhere then I spend the next X amount of time thinking I'm going faint! or I'm going to die...Hold on and hope someone can help. Even though we all know the rational explanation for it, if you are like me you just can't bring yourself to believe it. The subconscious mind can kick of an anxiety attack either small or massive, that in itself is hard to get your head around, then it will direct your blood to your muscles, you know ... to get ready to run from something!.... This coupled with adrenaline which is automatically released in this case from you brain to assist in this run/fight/something !! this can cause you lightheadedness and dizzy spells. Oh don't worry I know your reading this thinking "Noooo that's not what's happening to me because it doesn't feel like that".... Well don't worry because I think the same..... Only thing is Dr's and the like have told me this copious amounts of time while they can't find anything wrong.
Onwards and upwards people!!!
Bang on exactly how I feel 90% of the time! I very often render myself scared to stand up or even look up, sometimes for hours on end, because I fear that it'll make the dizzy/ lightheaded/ off balance feeling worse. Most of the time, it does, and the same with moving my head quickly or any sudden movements. All of the doctors I've seen in the past couple of months, and my therapist, have all said that A) If you're feeling lightheaded then OF COURSE moving's going to make it worse, that's the case with any cause of dizziness etc. and B) that most of the time, it's nothing more than me creating and exacerbating those symptoms myself by worrying about them so much, and therefore triggering anxiety when moving in those ways! I hope this helps a bit anyway, rest assured that I and I'm sure tonnes of others on here know exactly how you feel! 😊
