How are you today Mrs B? X
Hello MrsB - yes very quiet. I am going to take that as a good sign
Actually not too bad. Few blips but ok... Thank God x xxx
Sorry guys, I've been trying to sort out my thyroid problem - I heard a lot of emails come in today and just got round to look - I now have an inbox with almost 400 in it.
My worst problem is I stop to read most, as are from HU then answer in an effort to support and help people with the benefit of my own research into my several health problems.
I've just had this week a paid for TB Interferon blood test and had to be ready at 8am that day for a 40 km taxi ride to the Laboratory, it's not a blood test that can be done locally. Special type of blood collection phials it seems, and today had a letter from lab confirming the blood sample has been sent to a Specialist Laboratory (in Paris) I think. same Specialist lab Group that analysed my 2012 Bon Marrow Biopsy! Their findings were that I had a 'blood disorder' Myleodysplasia. That involved my white cells which are supposed to fight infection. This year after filling in a local State Health enquire form , I was invited to go to the Area Health Clinic, have a blood test and take a early morning wee sample in their enclosed container! Then I had to return to see a Doc at same Clinic to discuss the results. She actually listened to the story of my whole health history from birth as I told her and showed her my relevant test results from over the 8 years I've lived here (France).
She diagnosed Thrombocytopenia! That's a malfunction of my red blood cells, my platelet count has been steadily dropping since Dec 2012! So I have Hashimotos, non-specific cirrhosis and had a spontaneous aneurysm and brain haemmorhage in Mar 2013! Oh there's loads more I won't bore you with. But it's all connected to my different health issues! I hadn't slept all last Monday night, just sat in a chair catching up on recorded UK TV progs before going for the special blood test!
I've always said and still do, that I'm frustrated, not depressed or anxious! But I do understand now why people are anxious, there are probably,y one or more underlying health conditions, or they are on certain medications that are hindering their health not helping it.
The most important thing to remember for our health is to look after our endocrine not systems, and ensure wenarenhavimgnsufficient of the correct vitamins and minerals in our diets, or if not possible, by supplementing with good quality ones. A chat with the Pharmacist (not a sales assistant) in the local chemist, is worth its weight in Gold, to discuss which is best for you. I did that a month ago and not regretting taking his advice and buying a supplement that is working for me!
Our guts are well worth looking after.....
