Hurts when I cough or laugh in the left side of my chest under the breast...I'm worried it might be my heart but people say im overreacting.

Hi I get this on occasion, have had it since a teenager. I have no explanation except muscle pain, which as I come to accept that most of my symptoms are caused by anxiety and tension, does make sense. Also I gather that, esp in a woman, the signs of something wrong like a heart attack, are quite different from the sharp pains you might think.

I would say try to relax - I know it is hard - and hopefully the pain will ease.
