My doctor prescribed me Lexapro for my GAD but I've been scared to take it. Has anyone had any experiences with this medication? Any help would be great. Thank you all. This site helps me a bunch!

Hi Me81.
I have not had any experience of this drug, but like most of the medication given for anxiety it takes 4-5 weeks to get into your system, there can also be some side effects but these usually ease after about a week.All I can suggest is give them a try.
