Hi

When you are having a panic attack your heart will quicken up so I would imagine this would show on an ecg but they should be able to detect that this is the cause , bit f course only a doctor could tell you for sure

If you could expand a little why you are feeling confused , I am wondering if you have had an ecg & this is what they have told you ?

Hi

Well I am not a doctor so I really wouldn't like to say what is the cause even though both could give you the same symptoms

I am pleased he is been referred to a cardiologist as this will help to give you both peace of mind & in the meantime if either of you are worried I wouldn't hesitate to contact my GP or even A&E

I am sorry my reply may not have been much help but let us know how he gets on

Hi

I was given an ecg when I stated getting chest pains after my dad died and was told it was anxiety related. Would recommend you goto see your gp for reassurance
