I agree I have health anxiety and it comes and goes. About a month ago I was having an anxiety attack every day, then I was fine for about a month or 2 and now I'm starting to get the old feelings back which starts with lightheadness, buzzy ears, palpitations and then it spirals. Wish I could find a way to stop it rearing its ugly head. Last time I had it was worse than I've had it before so I really don't want to have it worse again.
Do you attend any support groups or have CBT? Does you lightheadedness make you feel as
If you may pass out?
There's a really good book a therapist recommended called overcoming health anxiety (if that's what you have) by Rob Willson and David Veale you can get it off amazon or try ur local library if you don't want to buy it.
I went to CBT a couple of times but didn,t find it much help if i'm honest the woman seem to just ask me if i was thinking of harming myself or anybody and how depressed i was which seems both stupid as i was not thinking of doing any of them and not depressed. Thanks for the book idea will have a look at that. PS yes do fill like i'm going to pass out but the sickness is probably the most awful thing.
