schizophrenia support

I find it hard to communicate my feeling as a schizo-affective person. It’s hard to find people who care about the troubles I’m going through. I’m high functioning so people have high expectations of me. I have been characterized as cognitively strong and people expect me to perform at a high level. They can’t understand that I have internal struggles and can be a high performer in other areas such as speak a lot of languages and have multiple degrees. A lot of times I look lazy but it’s hard to wake up early while taking antipsychotics. I hope that someday I can find a woman who will love me despite my flaws.

You will. It takes the right person; don’t settle and be patient. I think if you can communicate with her exactly what wrote here, there is a wonderful young woman aware enough to understand and appreciate your amazing qualities as well as your internal struggles. First find someone you can trust. Love will happen in it’s own time.
