Does anyone know where Agora is. I have been away from HU for a few weeks due to a hip dislocation (which is slowly healing). Since I have begun looking at posts again I have not seen her.

I would have thought there would be a little more concern about her, The lady is a saint in my eyes, she has always been there for everyone on this forum. Everyone please do your best to find a way to contact her. Ray.

Agreed Gerrerd! She will always be an angel in my book and someone who made my time here worthwhile. She mentioned being in pain a couple of weeks ago with her fibro so maybe that’s the reason for her absence. I pray she’s okay. 🙏

glad to hear your healing.... I think Agora is probably busy, taking a break, or something like all of us do from time to time. I would just PM her.

Well it was a dislocation of a hip replacement. Apparently they are slow to heal. The doctor said it takes 6 weeks for the soft tissues to heal and then I guess another month or two to get stronger. I am just hoping I do not need any surgery to repair things. I did it doing a yoga stretch which I should never have been doing. Thanks for asking.

😩that’s awful. Hip replacements are just a mess like that. Def a lot of slow healing and recovery involved. And u got hurt doing yoga ughhh supposed to be comforting and healing. So sorry b1b1b1. Healing prayers slowly but surely. 🙏🏻

Yikes that sounds painful my friend...sending you healing thoughts....hope you get better soon. But it's just one of those things that takes time.....hey...get yourself one of those extension picker upper grabber things, you'll thank me later...lifesaver when I was down. Also a good multi-mineral for the bone and muscle repair stuff, and C with Zinc to ward off any flu bugs....and lots and lots of sleep...that's when your body heals itself.

Thanks Faux. Nice to hear from you. I do have the grabber thing and could not live without it. At least I am not in any pain - just slow and worried what the surgeon is going to say when I see him. I just ordered slip on shoes as I don't think I will be bending down to tie shoes for a while. Did I mention that I did this while stretching, so very frustrating. x

Try not to worry, it's understandable though, its' just going to take time.

Maybe she is just taking a break from the site for a bit, something many of us do every so often. Hopefully she is ok. Glad your hip is healing!

I’ve been wondering the same thing. She fell not long ago and said she was fine. Hope she’s okay and hasn’t fallen again.

not sure Ray Agora is never off the forum for a long HU will have her email address maybe they could check.
