I have an anxiety disorder - wondering if depression isn’t part of this . What if any meds have any of you tried that have been very good for you ?

I have a clinical social worker - I’m talking with her about it on Friday . Not sure she can prescribe meds …not sure if it’s better to try other things - meditation , etc

Avoid all meds if possible. Stick with counseling and breathing through the rough times. Trust me when I say that you really don't want to go down the med route. It just adds to your problems eventually. I am literally fighting for my life because of the damage that they have caused. I would do anything to trade places and have that choice again. Just my opinion and my experience. Do research before taking any medication, you won't regret it.

Anxiety sucks but it won't kill you, the meds will. I know it sounds hokey but yoga and meditation is all you need. Missing a few nights sleep here and there also sucks but now I would do anything to go back to the way I was before meds and I still don't sleep.
