PANIC ATTACK ADVICE PLEASE

good evening everyone, I hope everyone is okay. I’m asking for some advice as I’m not sure if this was a panic attack but something very strange happened to me tonight. I’ve had agoraphobia and panic disorder for 14 years. I’ve experienced nearly all of the common side effects of a panic attack for example racing heart, dry mouth, shortness of breath, dizziness, tingling fingers, hot and cold sweats etc, but I’ve never experienced what I’ve experienced tonight. I got into my car and started driving home from my sisters house, I was feeling anxious but tried to not think about it so I called my step dad to let him know I was on my way home and could he wait out the front for me as I’m feeling a bit anxious, he stayed on the phone through the handsfree and as I approached a roundabout I all of a sudden felt short of breath, I immediately turned my hazards on and the air con and drank some water but it didn’t go away so I carried on driving as I was only a minute away from my house and I just had this urge to get home quickly, I come over very dizzy and felt like I was in a dream and everything felt slow motion, I felt like my car was barely moving, and then I couldn’t really feel my legs. I carried on driving the best I could as I was already almost home and and soon as I got home it went away? It was very scary and I’ve never experienced anything like it can anyone relate? Thank you

i recently experienced a similar thing... turns out it was a medication change that did it. SOMETIMES our bodys just do what it wants, glad u got home safe and got thru it sometimes deep breathing can help focusing on raising your belly with your breath instead of just your lungs
