Mirtazapine withdrawal after 9 weeks

Hi anyone out there know how long my withdrawal from mirtazapine will last. I am very sensitive to medications and this one does not suit me. Been on 7.5mgs for 9 weeks and started to taper down to 5.63 (7.5 & 1.87 alternately). 4 weeks on 5.63mg and i am still having side effects. Anxiety, Diarreah and my tinnitus is louder. I thought id be throu it by now. Anyone had a similar problem

I'm glad you are tapering down your dose. I wish I had an answer for you. Please keep us posted and stay in close contact with your doctor.

I've not had any experience with mirtazapine but it sounds like you are taking the best approach which is to taper down very slowly, even double or triple the amount of time doctors recommend, especially if you know you are sensitive to meds.
