I have been trying to grow out my beard for sometime now and the anxiety is getting intense. In the past my OCD would kick into gear and I would have to keep checking in the mirror many many times, so much so that I would end up shaving my beard just to stop the thoughts! This time I'm trying really hard to control the anxious thoughts and go ahead with growing my beard as I would at least like to find out if my beard is any good. Looking forward to encouragement from you guys to keep going.......
PS: I could also be suffering from body dysmorphic disorder!
