Insomnia

I think insomnia was a recurring trait that I seemed to have when I had my depressive episodes but now it seems more of an every day kind of thing. It’s really difficult in the night to stop the overthinking so I usually try to distract myself by watching videos online so that I’ll eventually just pass out from exhaustion and fall asleep. But I always keep waking up in the middle up the night from overthinking yet again. It’s like even when I’m sleeping, my brain and subconscious are still actively working to keep me awake. I’ve tried all the natural remedies to counter insomnia: going to bed early, not using electronics, diet/exercise, melatonin etc. but nothing seems to be working. I’m so tired throughout the day because of the lack of sleep and I wish it’d all just stop.
