At the program where I was director we had a small mare donated with tons of innate talent. But of but of course very high strung very nervous

Time and again I told my instructors to go slow super slow with her

In two days they ruined her pushing her to jump out of her comfort zone

She would go near a jump pole on the ground

People are goofy about anxiety it’s as common as water

Really talented people and horses can be very nervous

Ya so??

I put poles in the pasture

After eating around them for six months

They don’t blink an eye Same with flags etc

As a teacher I go slower til I or three horse or my student gets their confidence be it one week or two years

Who cares?? When u get bored when the horse get bored.

Then

We move on

Once u blow a horses mind by over facing them that’s it start all over

Like I tend to say I’ve known three people in history that didn’t hsvf anxiety

They are in heaven with the herd now having a ton of fun
