NEW YEARS' RESOLUTIANS . IS THERE ANY POINT ?

It seems like our freedom is gone .

It was 1960 NYE 8th grade party and my boyfriend whispered to me at midnight ' I want to screw you ' and I replied 'fat chance buddy'. I hardly knew what he was talking about. It's the only NYE I remember .

I had that problem once when my kids were small . It was horrible and then one day they were just gone . It was like a miracle .

Funny time of the year, most of my life has disappeared into the fog of time.

I remembered when I was at work I used to go Ballroom Dancing on a Tuesday Night, we would meet up with all the dancers so we always had someone to dance with. I was around Christmas/New Year and I met this girl there first time we danced until one in the morning and took Her home. Next day I had not changed from the night before and my suit was covered in makeup. my Supervisor was asking why I had not cleared of the dusting, and I explained. The next thing one of the people I worked with came up to me and asked if I had been dancing I said yes, it was His younger Sisters. It was a strange day that time, needless to say I had several dates with the girl and that was it. I should have guessed at the name and where I was dropping Her off.

Ehn, I have never made a new year resolution I have kept. New year's were always casual business in my home, so much it was almost exactly like every normal day differentiated only by longer morning prayers. New year resolutions though? I make it a point to make them. I somehow imagine the new year as a chance to be reborn, a gap in the unrelenting cycle to relinquish my worries even for a bit. New year's just around the corner, keeping my fingers crossed and heart wide open truly hoping for new beginning.❤️ Wishing you all the best that 2021 has to offer.

I miss doing karaoke. A few years ago I was at this local karaoke place on New Year's Eve, it was so much fun!!!! I did "Let's Go Crazy" by Prince, I was just hyperactive!!! Now this year I'm just watching television. Ho hum.
