Worried Again

I was supposed to see a primary care doctor to get test for my thyroid but don't have any insurance and their saying ill have to wait until January , Is it gonna get worst waiting ?? Because when i went to the ER the doctor said its low levels but dont have any symptoms but i need to get it checked as soon as possible but i dont have any money right now . What should i do , im panicking right now . . .

Hi. No, it shouldn't get worse while you wait. I have hypothyroidism. I am supposed to get my levels checked every few months, but sometimes this doesn't happen. It does not mean the end of the world; as long as I get them checked when I can I am fine. January will be here before you know it.

Thanks , last week i went to the ER for Anxiety and they did a blood test and they were a little low but could be caused by my poor diet but said i might want to get them checked to rule out any thyroid problems but i have no symptoms i looked on google and it said if left untreated it could effect the major organs

Please don't look up health problems online. That will juust freak you out (as you know). Each of us has enough stress in our everyday lives.
