That sounds like me. I have recently re-evaluated my life and wrote down the things I could do without. I need less stress. Mine will hit hard, or sometimes not as much
I'm in the same place and mostly sick of the pandemic which I blame most of it too. Unlike you I'm eating everything in sight which leads to shame. I'm here for you
Hi🙋♀️ and welcome! Whether physical, mental and/or emotional, not sleeping well can cause all kinds of problems. How long have you not been sleeping well for? Things are tough enough even when we do sleep well; not sleeping well makes them that much worse.
I know how you feel. It sucks and hopefully this support will help.
Hello,
Welcome! I am glad that you came here to talk, you will find many loving and caring people here who have and are in the same position that you are. - You have taken a good first step by reaching out for help. When my mind goes into a dark place, I like to put on relaxing and encouraging music. While I am listening, my mind wants head down a worse direction, so I make myself pray; "HELP LORD JESUS!" I need you to take control of my mind right now! Then I instantly feel a little more at peace and I just keep talking to God telling my feelings as I listen to the music. I sit back and take a few moments to myself and just focus on relaxing my mind. I take slow deep breaths, in and then back out and repeat until I feel more relaxed. I also, make sure I get outside daily and take a walk and play with my dog or take time to pet my kitties. Do you have any animals or can yo have a pet where you live? Pets are a great source of relieving anxiety and stress too.
