I have been in pain for a while now and just found out I need a cervical spine fusion! I’m scared and already feel like such a burden to the people in my life!!

I spent two weeks with my brother when he had a leg amputated. We live in other states and I dropped everything to be with him. It meant a lot to me to do that because I love him. He was no burden to me at all. My other family members stepped in right after I had to leave. Everyone was there for him and glad to do it. That's love. You might try talking to your family and sharing your concerns - you could be surprised by the answers.

Thank you for your kind words and hug!! I have spoken to them because most days I do feel like a burden! But honestly it’s probably just my head telling me this! That was very nice of you to help your brother. I’m sure he is very grateful!
