unsightly collateral veins in pelvis/pubic area.

I’ve been following these forums for a couple years now- but this is my first time posting here….. ok so here it goes… long story short I’m a 33 year old female. In May of 2021 I was diagnosed with DVTS from the tips of my toes, all the way up both legs, both sides of my pelvis and up my IVC. Needless to say - it’s been a rough road. Fast forward to current time…I stopped taking my lovenox injections about two months into this whole ordeal. Even then- my blood clots have finally dissolved ( thanks to the help of Serrapeptase and Nattokinase) . The issues I am left with is significant swelling in my right leg and HORRIBLE, unsightly “collateral veins that run horizontally across my pelvis( in the pubic area). I’m not kidding when I say that these veins look equivalent to elephantiasis. I’ve already went through 12 surgeries with my interventional radiologist of clot retrievals, angioplasties ect…. But each time he has attempted to put stents in my veins- it was unsuccessful because my veins are so occluded. I’m hoping that the Serrapeptase may eventually reverse this occlusion causing my unsightly collateral veins. Has anyone else experienced these types of collaterals in the pelvic/ pubic area?

so sorry to hear this. You have had a pretty awful time.

Are you anticoagukated at all? You mention two months of injections? That seems a very short time for such huge unprovoked clots.

I was going to suggest review by a vascular surgeon but I can see that you already have this, but maybe ask a vascular surgeon for another opinion?

Good luck going forward.

I was thinking the same thing.. longer duration seems needed. Also, thinners and natural remedies don't break up clots, your body does over time. Thinners prevent growth of existing clots and new ones.Take care-
