Hello from Texas. I was wondering if anyone could recommend eye drops for both allergies and dry eyes. I’ve been using Opcon A and Systane not realizing both have PEG as an ingredient. It’s to the point that my vision has deteriorated within a 24 hour period and I believe it’s due to a reaction to the PEG. It just seems like with each day that passes I become more and more sensitive or allergic to everything and I’m so frustrated.

I use Hyla - Forte, not sure if you can get them where you are. No PEG or polysorbate in them. Hop your eyes improve!
Try to look for homeopathic OTC meds. I have "Complete Eye Relief" sterile eye drops by Similasan that work for me.
I use Alaway. It contains an antihistamine. Before purchase, make sure it doesn't contain any of your personal allergens. There aren't any glycols, at least.
Thanks all! I actually found some homeopathic drops from Amazon called Optique1 by Boiron. I can't believe the difference. My eyes actually feel soothed after putting the drops in.
Glad you found some that work! I have dry eyes too, and just wanted to add that my Opthamologist has told me that as a general rule any preservative-free eye drop should not have PEG in it (I use Refresh Plus Preservative Free).
For the record, this extends to prescription drops for eye infections, too. I was initially prescribed some that were not preservative free, contained PEG, and the headache it caused was pure agony. It also caused throat and tonsil redness from where it went through the tear duct and dripped down my throat. Zero out of ten, do not recommend.
