Can a pharmacy compound common OTC medicines like Tylenol, Zyrtec, Benedryl, etc. with OUT PG or PEG? Has anyone had this done? Would love to hear your experiences - thanks.

I've had omeprazole and thyroxine made by a compounding pharmacist as well as compounds to pack a tooth after a root canal treatment. I have found a brand of paracetamol and mefenamic acid and antihistamine without PEG or PG but I think they can make most things at a price. Good luck!

Do you need a prescription from a doctor to have a pharmacist compound an over-the-counter product?

I've had acetaminophen made without the glycols and hydrocortisone ointment without a wetting agent.
