Heart Pain

I wonder if somebody can assist with a question. I'm a 46 year old with a minor mitral valve prolapse. Possible sinus nerve damage on the lower ventricle but minor. I'm not on medication. There is no known 'major' issue or treatment plan suggested by cardiologist. I am very fit with low heart beat. Have had Ecg, MRI, after previous sincope for obvious reason.

My question is related to chest/heart pain. I have it infrequently and mostly after exertion. For example a soccer game. It doesn't effect my breathing, physicality etc. No shortness of breath, fatigue etc. It's just there.

Is anybody familer with it? What could it be?

Any chest pain should be evaluated by your doctor. It may be something as minor muscle strain or it could be something related to your heart. Better to get it right then to guess.

Chest pain of that kind is, I think Asa non medic, unlikely to be of concern but I’d hot that you’ve mentioned it to your doctors.

When I get AF, I sometimes get “chest ache”. I suspect myself this is a kind of mild angina whereby the heart output is slightly reduced below the ideal but my doctors aren’t at all concerned by it. I was given an MRI for it and all was well. Could your slight valve issue be doing something similar under the stress of exercise?

I have come to the conclusion that the pain is likely more muscle related that heart related. I put it down to heart as the pain is directly in the area of chest surrounding the heart. However, the pain can be reproduced through pressure at specific points. So, I think I misdiagnosed myself....Comments above are valid and I would/will consult a doctors should I have any further concerns. Thanks for the replies.
