Readings : what do they mean ?

Two questions if I may please ;

I have already been diagnosed as being an A/F suferer with three stents and chronic cardio issues I an 71 . I am due for a pace maker in the next six to eight weeks . My I watch also alerts me to low heart beat , 34 sometimes and a 6 second delay to restart between beats mainly at night

I checked my heart variability and noted it dropped to 11ms this afternoon . It’s not a thing I normally look at so am curious if this is to low it happened early afternoon today . My average is 36ms is this to low and why is this ?

Secondly my wife and I have the same Iwatch and IPhone and talking to the cardiologist recently he said they are pretty accurate .

My question is when we both take an ECG using our watches, my wife’s has strong upright consistent spikes but when I look at mine my spikes face down and a bit of a wobbly line with the upper spikes being less prominent ( see attached ) The watch doesn’t show A/F although it has picked up previous events ( around 10% if readings )

Again, what do my readings really mean?

I would normally be asking my cardiologist, but as I won’t see anyone for a month, my curiosity has driven me to ask the question now . Any comments greatly appreciated .

Everyone’s ECG looks slightly different and there are many versions of “normal”. The watch ECG can only be used to make a recording of your heart’s rhythm. Anything else requires a 12-lead ECG and an experienced eye to evaluate it. Your cardiologist is probably the best person to ask, assuming you have face-to-face appointments and you can bring along a printout of your rhythm traces. As for HRV — don’t bother with it. Everyone was blissfully unaware of what HRV was until it appeared on smart watches, but now people show up on this forum asking what it means, etc etc, but my advice is just ignore it. In the context of arrhythmias it is meaningless.

My husband's ECG trace looks totally different from mine. His is mostly 'above the line' with no bottom spike. Mine is more like the ones you show with spikes above and below. Your cardiologist can probably give you the best explanation as to why this should be - I suppose we are all different.
